How often do you need to update your FDA FSVP or Preventive Control Plan?
The FSVP or Preventive Control plan must be updated when changes occur to a product or process and reviewed every three years if no changes take place. The FDA requires a PCQI oversees all food safety plan verification activities within seven business days after monitoring activities are completed. Food safety plan records must be retained for two years.
